A significant blacklist exists for players who do not support the current government, severely limiting the pool of talent available within the national competitions.
Moreover, foreign players have grown reluctant to join Belarusian teams. The market has notably stagnated, with the most valuable player in the Belarusian league currently valued at a meager €750,000.
