As the pandemic progressed, the landscape of eBay flipping began to change. For starters, it became increasingly difficult to source games locally as more people caught on to the trend of buying and reselling. I remember the feeling of excitement as I typed messages to sellers, often competing against multiple buyers for the same product, only to lose out within minutes.
This new reality turned Facebook Marketplace into a battleground for video game deals. What used to be a low-competition niche blossomed into an oversaturated market. As a result, the opportunities I once seized with ease became far more limited. This shift made the excitement of flipping gradually fade, leading me to reassess my position in the eBay marketplace.
