The saga began when Justin Baldoni, an accomplished actor and director known for his role in Jane the Virgin, announced that Blake Lively would play the lead role in the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel It Ends With Us. Fans were initially excited, as Lively's established star power and Baldoni's ambition promised a successful project. Filming commenced in May 2023, with the film scheduled for release in August 2024.
