Part 4/8:
The first step in my experiment was taking a hefty dose of 28 grams of creatine, equivalent to 0.35 grams per kilogram of my body weight. After consuming the creatine mixed with water and milk, I was eager to see its effects on my cognitive performance, especially given an early flight and minimal sleep.
Throughout the week, I noticed a marked improvement in how I felt after shorter nights of sleep. On nights where I only logged 6 or 7 hours of sleep, my 28-gram dose made me feel as though I had obtained a full night’s rest. Interestingly, the cognitive boost was quite noticeable within one to two hours post-ingestion, resulting in feelings of energy and sharpness in my mental clarity.
