A More Promising $150 Setup

Conversely, my second purchase—a $150 setup—was from a reputable budget brand called Pecron. This kit included a 50W solar panel, a solar charging cable, and a more robust power station. Unlike the $100 option, this power station felt more substantial and fully featured, which rekindled my hope for a successful test.

The Pecron arrived with a 64% charge. When I connected the solar panel to the power station, it began charging at an output of around 30-34 watts. I was slightly underwhelmed; I anticipated higher output from a 50W panel. Nevertheless, I placed both setups under the sun to see how effectively they could collect solar energy.
