After one hour of solar charging, I pulled the data. The $100 setup barely collected 12.5 watt-hours of energy—enough to charge a phone partially but hardly impressive for practical use. Meanwhile, the $150 Pecron setup, with the battery at 69% charge, recovered only 19 watt-hours despite the charger being supposedly more capable.
Switching to wall charging, the Sabow showed a minimal charge rate of 34 watts, indicating it would take about 2.5 hours to recharge fully. In contrast, Pecron boasted fast charging up to 330-350 watts, allowing it to juice up in a mere 80 minutes.
