Appliance Testing: What Can They Power?

The important question remained: Could these low-cost generators power actual appliances? The $100 Sabow showed its limitations, charging multiple USB devices simultaneously and running small AC outputs like a Wi-Fi router. However, it lacked the capability to support more power-hungry devices, limiting its effectiveness to just small electronics.

The $150 Pecron setup, however, showcased far superior performance. It could adequately run my TV and various kitchen appliances, including compatible 12V devices. While it could handle many loads, it did struggle with high wattage appliances, such as a coffee maker or space heater.

Conclusion: Worth the Investment?
