For many, especially younger generations, 2008 was a time that felt economically stable and culturally rich. However, adults faced an ominous reality—mounting financial pressures, mortgages, and a foreboding recession loomed on the horizon.
The crisis hit hard, leading to waves of home foreclosures, a staggering unemployment rate, and millions left in financial ruin. The American Dream, once a cornerstone of hope, was quickly dissipated for many, resulting in a generational trauma that shapes us to this day.
