George R. R. Martin, the acclaimed author behind the immensely popular A Song of Ice and Fire series, has delivered yet another update on the long-awaited sixth installment, The Winds of Winter. Unfortunately, fans might find the news both disappointing and concerning. Despite having stated in the past that the book was approximately three-quarters of the way done, Martin’s latest remarks indicate that he still has not made significant progress and does not anticipate a release date coming anytime soon.
