Rather than measuring out cups or using apps to track my intake, having a single jug made it much easier to ensure I met my water goal. A word of caution: while some may debate the addition of powders like protein in their water, the purist view, as expressed by Frisella, is to stick to plain water.
Ultimately, you must choose what works for you while respecting the essence of the challenge.
Rule 3: Complete Two Workouts Per Day
Perhaps the most recognized rule is the requirement to perform two workouts, each lasting a minimum of 45 minutes, with at least one occurring outdoors. During the challenge, I found it helpful to distinguish between indoor and outdoor sessions.
