For a time, this method appeared successful, but TikTok's crackdown on reposted content eventually dismantled many of these channels.
As the TikTok reposting hustle crumbled, it laid bare the precariousness of operating through stolen content. Users realized that while easy cash could be made, platforms were also ready to take swift action against intellectual property violations.
