Recognizing My Core Competencies
During my time at the workshop, I engaged in discussions that illuminated areas where I had strayed from my core competencies. I previously concentrated on expanding my revenue streams by stepping into various markets that promised scalability. However, it became evident that I had solved the wrong problem when having a successful business was more about scaling what I already did effectively rather than jumping into new ventures.
This realization prompted me to reassess my business model. Instead of focusing on a crowd-filled scalable market, I recognized that honing the unique value I offered could position me in a niche of my own, where competition is minimal.
