Approximately 7 million young men lived in Ukraine when the war started, but now, after over three years, that number has fallen to around 6 million—a staggering loss of about a million, or 15%. This decline is attributed to casualties from the war and extensive emigration, stripping Russia of a vital workforce necessary for economic operations.
