- Trial Reels Feature: Instagram introduced this feature allowing users to post Reels exclusively for non-followers. The theory is that the influx of trial reels is crowding feeds with lower-quality content and subsequently reducing the reach of established creators. However, anecdotal evidence suggests that trial reels are often not effective in garnering views. 
- Short-Form Fatigue: As viewers grow weary of the constant stream of short videos, they may find themselves disengaging from Instagram Reels. Longer-form content, such as YouTube videos and podcasts, seems to be gaining popularity over quick, attention-grabbing clips.
