Part 4/10:
Upon arriving in one of the larger refugee camps in Chad, which hosts around 45,000 individuals, I was struck by the emotional intensity of the encounter. These refugees come from diverse backgrounds, yet they share the unfortunate experience of being uprooted from their homes. Despite Chad's limited infrastructure and economic challenges, the local government has greeted the refugees with an unusual level of hospitality, perhaps reflective of the historical kindness known in the region.
