One exemplary development is a carbon fiber composite created by researchers from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). This composite not only supports significant weight but also functions effectively as a battery. Thanks to advancements in resin work and high-pressure molding, this lightweight and thin material could revolutionize the construction of electric vehicles (EVs) and airplanes.
