However, with a growing community of Bitcoin users, it became easier to onboard local businesses. From just a few merchants a short while ago to over 140 today, Madera has become a hub for Bitcoin transactions.
The Catalysts Behind the Adoption
Logger attributes much of the island's transformation to passionate individuals and continuous education about Bitcoin. Local business owners are gradually becoming familiar with the benefits of Bitcoin payment systems, which include lower transaction fees and an expanded customer base.
