Over the years, I explored various forms of exercise, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu and gymnastics. Finally, I stumbled upon powerlifting, which connected with me due to its simplicity and focus on three compound movements. Although I saw success in strength and ability, the demanding nature of powerlifting began to take a toll on me. Training sessions consumed around 80 minutes a day and left me feeling mentally drained and physically exhausted.

When my daughter was born in March 2020, the pandemic closed gym doors, forcing me to rethink my fitness journey entirely. Faced with the reality of fatherhood, I contemplated letting go of my training, but it quickly became apparent that I needed to make a change not just for myself, but for my family as well.
