The Restoration Journey

The Lamborghini's left quarter panel showed signs of significant damage that implied the possibility of a designation as "totaled" by insurance. Understanding this could cost a fortune to fix, I began to assess and document the repairs needed.

The weekends soon turned into days of sourcing replacement parts through eBay, local shops, and restored items from the previous owner, Guppy. He not only provided valuable history about the car but also sold me original parts necessary for registration. I struggled with a few unexpected challenges, like removing an aftermarket stereo that left a tangled mess of wires, and in the process, even considered welding a bent impact bar.
