The history of the area became a recurring theme in the renovation journey. Discoveries of a nearby cemetery and remnants of a bygone era showcased a formerly vibrant community of over 200 families. Such historical contexts enriched the emotional value of the labor.
To prepare for harsher weather conditions, the owner worked to tarp the leaking roof, a temporary yet crucial fix to prevent further damage. This presented itself as a moment of critical decision-making and finally getting to lay out the plans for future improvements to create a sustainable living space, once again filled with life and memories.
