During week one, my diet consisted mainly of lean proteins, vegetables, and chicken breasts, following conventional diet advice. Despite a calorie deficit (~1,200 calories/day), I constantly felt hungry and exhausted, leading to a frustrating cycle of deprivation. My social life was nonexistent, and my sole hobby was walking—portraying a lonely, monochrome existence. Like many beginners, I believed that suffering was a necessary part of losing weight fast, but this approach was unsustainable and ultimately unsatisfying.
