Despite their small size—collectively covering about one-third of Ukraine's area—the Baltics are densely populated and lack the strategic depth necessary to withstand a prolonged invasion. Their geographic positioning makes rapid mobilization and reinforcement challenging, especially under the shadow of Russian military presence in neighboring Belarus and the Kaliningrad exclave.
