For example, if someone finds a job earning €150 net per month more than their Bürgergeld, the job center might interpret this as eligibility for less or no Bürgergeld.
In such cases, the employee might be told by their caseworker:
"Unterschreiben Sie einfach hier, dann haben wir beide weniger Papierkram,"
which translates to "Just sign here, and we both will have less paperwork."
