Part 5/13:
Advanced Electronics and Customization
A key aspect of Marshall’s gear setup is the thoughtful wiring and electronics. His guitar includes lumen lay inlays for visibility and ferrules that react to stage lighting. The pickups, a set from Schecter’s USA custom shop dubbed the Pasadena Plus, aim to deliver a balanced, dynamic tone close to his desired passive pickups.
He notes that his setup is backed by an entirely MIDI-controlled system, where every scene change, modulation, and effects parameter is pre-programmed via Logic Pro on a Mac M1 Max. This allows him to execute complex live show sequences seamlessly, adjusting textures, effects, and even lighting cues in real time.
