Part 3/10:
From age 13 to 23, Rick practiced daily without fail, dedicating at least four hours each day and sometimes up to ten hours during summer college breaks. His obsession with learning music—and guitar in particular—was intense. He pursued classical bass and earned his undergraduate degree in music education, followed by a master’s in jazz guitar. During this time, he was deeply immersed in honing his craft, teaching at Ithaca College and playing live jazz gigs five nights a week, showcasing his dedication to performance and growth.
