One particularly disturbing aspect involved a shadow figure that embodied a menacing presence, supposedly a non-human entity that appeared to manipulate the spirits and spirits' stories. Mandy and the team sensed that several darker entities might be orchestrating chaos—using Kit to influence the playful and mischievous behavior of spirits like Olivia and Kayla, who seemed to be caught in a web of influence from these malevolent forces.
