Ichi's story begins under the shadow of hardship. Abandoned at birth and rendered blind, she is rescued by a legendary blind Samurai named Zi, who acts as a father figure. Though Zi eventually leaves her in the care of the Gaz, a group of female shaman players, he instills within her the fundamental skills of swordsmanship, holding a secret hope that she will one day face the harsh realities of life.
