The storyline introduces us to Shelby John, a man running errands for his girlfriend, Ruby. As the couple navigates their relationship, it becomes evident that they, too, are ensnared in the grips of drug addiction. Their evening ritual of taking drugs together reveals a harsh reality faced by many in the town. They often speak of their dreams of a life free from drugs, sharing aspirations of marriage and a stable family. However, the withdrawal symptoms that follow their decision to quit prove to be a formidable challenge.
