Part 3/9:
On Turandot’s birthday, she finds the bracelets among her many gifts and, in playful innocence, tries to don them with her father. However, tragedy strikes when all three bracelets are worn at once, triggering the curse. Bound tightly around her arm, they inflict excruciating pain upon Turandot, robbing her of color and plunging her into a world devoid of beauty. Khan, desperate to save his daughter, learns from the High Priest that the curse can only be broken by a suitor who solves three riddles presented by Turandot— a perilous proposition that risks the suitor’s life.
