Part 4/8:
Ignoring Kate's pleas, the team extracts a tissue sample from the creature, which soon leads to catastrophic consequences. The ice block begins to melt, and before long, the alien entity escapes, causing terror among the team as they realize they are not dealing with a mere specimen but a living threat. The transformation begins devastatingly when one team member is dragged into the shadows and violently killed by the creature.
Subsequent scenes depict frantic attempts to hunt down the alien, which has a grotesque appearance reminiscent of various insect features. The brutal violence escalates, and after managing to burn one of its forms, the remaining team grapples with loss and despair, marking the slow unraveling of their sanity as distrust seeps into their camaraderie.
