Part 2/9:
Set in a desolate seaside village, the narrative revolves around Nicolas, a frail young boy who senses something sinister in the atmosphere of the isolated island he inhabits with his mother. The film begins with an eerie discovery: while swimming, Nicolas glimpses what appears to be a dead boy adorned with a red starfish. When Nicolas reports this to his mother, she dismisses his claims and delves into the depths of the sea to retrieve the starfish instead, denying the existence of any body.
