Part 8/9:
The overarching narrative serves as a dark allegory for childhood trauma and the loss of innocence. The boys, isolated from any semblance of normal childhood, are caught in the grasp of a nightmarish cycle, forced into an existence of fear, confusion, and morbid reality. Through their very bodies, they become agents for an alien reproductive agenda, drawing stark parallels to how society may exploit innocence in its various forms.
The film also remarks upon the concept of motherhood and biological instincts, juxtaposing the nurturing association with maternal figures against the backdrop of predation and survival.
