Part 2/9:
Set in the year 2043, the film begins with an alarming premise: a lethal disease claims the lives of 98% of children and teenagers in the United States, leaving only a small fraction alive. This virus, while deadly to the young, spares adults. The survivors of this horrific epidemic emerge from their ordeal with unique and terrifying abilities, perceived as threats rather than victims.
To manage this burgeoning crisis, the government, led by President Gray, convinces parents to surrender their surviving children to government-run camps under the guise of treatment and research. One child’s experience sheds light on the grim realities within these camps.
