Part 3/10:
Meanwhile, in London, renowned detective Sherlock Holmes is grappling with the aftermath of another successful case but is struggling with a withdrawal from his nicotine addiction. Demonstrating his typical flair, he proceeds to rummage through his apartment for cigarettes when Henry Knight arrives on his doorstep. Desperate for answers, Henry asks Sherlock to investigate the mystery surrounding his father’s death.
Initially skeptical, Sherlock regards Henry’s claims as a product of psychological trauma, compounded further by Henry’s recent discovery of massive paw prints near the site of his father's murder. A single choice of words—Henry referring to the creature as a “hound” rather than a “dog”—captures Sherlock’s attention, prompting him and John Watson to make their way to Dartmoor.
