As Dr. Karen continues to witness bizarre behaviors, the cephalopod manages to escape, sparking a facility-wide lockdown. The villainous octopus possesses an alarming ability: it revives and spreads an infection capable of transforming other creatures into more monstrous versions of themselves. The staff members, including Miranda and Daniel, soon discover that animal attacks ensue, leading to a frantic search for safety as they navigate through flooded corridors and creatures now turned hostile.
