However, unsettling events begin to plague So Yian's life. As she grapples with the weight of the recent tragedy, she witnesses ghostly visions of the little girl who seems drawn to Beon. Despite So Yian's concern for her mental stability, her nights are plagued by terrifying dreams involving the spectral child. Her friend Bohi insists on adopting a cat, brushing aside So Yian's objections concerning her friend’s previous history with abandoned pets.
After an unnerving series of incidents, including Bhobi’s mysterious collapse, So Yian becomes increasingly convinced that the cats are cursed. Each adoption has led to tragedy – a looming presence that continues to haunt her corners her thoughts.
