Part 3/9:
The narrative transitions to Cody, a passionate comic book artist completing his illustrations with the hope of sharing them with Clark, the local comic book store owner. As he grapples with suggestions from his best friend Steve about joining a Christmas Eve party at the store, family dynamics begin to unfold with the arrival of Uncle Mike and his glamorous model wife. A caricature of Cody skews the tense family gathering and results in Cody being grounded, eliminating any chance of attending the cherished party.
