In a secluded forested area, an animal control officer and his intern embark on a mission to track down a wild dog after receiving a report from a concerned local resident. Their safe journey quickly unravels when they encounter an unexpected military presence in the form of a stop sign put up by the National Guard, which surprises the officer, as he is familiar with the area. Ignoring the blockade, they press on, only to stumble upon more terrifying discoveries.
