With the leader gone, Fong Mu, the deputy leader, assumes control but soon reveals his corrupt intentions. He eliminates loyalists and seeks to claim the sect’s power for himself, viewing Shinji as a threat to his ambitions. Yet, in the shadows, Yun King protects the young Shinji during two decades of exile. As time passes, the external threats grow stronger, and upon Yun King's death, he tasks his allies with a crucial mission: to find the Halfstep Celestial Book, which can suppress the demonic forces within Shinji.
