This transformation seems to coincide with Clooney's upcoming theatrical endeavor. He is set to star in the Broadway play Good Night, and Good Luck, which begins previews on March 12th. This stage adaptation is based on the 2005 film of the same name, a project that Clooney not only directed and wrote but also starred in as news producer Fred Friendly. In the play, Clooney is taking on the significant role of journalist Edward R. Murrow, marking a notable shift from his previous on-screen personas.
