The 144,000 and a Great Multitude
Before the opening of the seventh seal, God marks 144,000 servants from the tribes of Israel as a sign of His protection amidst judgment. Later, a vast multitude from every nation appears before the throne, demonstrating the all-encompassing nature of God's redemption.
The Seven Trumpets and Woes
The seventh seal culminates in silence as seven angels prepare to sound their trumpets. Each trumpet reveals further calamities upon the earth as mankind continues in rebellion:
First Trumpet: Hail and fire devastate nature.
Second Trumpet: The sea is turned to blood.
Third Trumpet: Freshwater sources become poisonous.
Fourth Trumpet: Darkness blankets the earth.
