The story begins in the year 384, amidst the backdrop of a long and devastating war in China that claimed countless lives and drastically reduced the population. In the midst of this chaos, Kaga Mitsu, the ruler, sought help in a desperate act—turning to demons. He entered a concealed chamber that housed statues of 48 demons, dismissing the priest present to communicate with the dark forces alone. Kaga Mitsu, driven by the loss of his family to the war, made a grave pact: to annihilate his enemies, particularly one named Kanayama, in exchange for the body parts of his unborn child.
