After much thought, Angus realizes that Cruso would be happier in the ocean. This loving decision brings a heart-wrenching farewell, and Angus's sorrow fills the air as he bids goodbye to Cruso. However, Cruso soon finds itself entangled in trouble of its own, attracting the attention of fishermen Jimmy and Hugh who desire to capture the creature for fame and fortune.
Meanwhile, Angus, under the pressures of military training and the ongoing war, yearns for his friend. Sneaking away to search for Cruso, he finds it much larger than before and delights in a thrilling ride across the sea. Their adventure takes a dark turn when Strunk and other soldiers mistakenly perceive Cruso as a threat, leading to a violent chaos between the creature and the soldiers.
