However, Timen's fate takes a turn when he impresses a mercenary commander, who purchases him. Despite enduring degradation and cruelty as a prisoner, Timen remains stoic, observing and planning for his future. A selfless priest, moved by Timen's spirit, tries to deliver a token from Borte but ends up dying in the harsh desert.
Borte, sensing her husband's suffering, embarks on a quest to find him and ultimately secures Timen's release through a daring operation. Once reunited, their love rekindles, but Timen's homeland is no longer the prosperous land he once knew. Determined to reclaim and restore it, Timen returns to the sacred mountain to reaffirm his promise of greatness.
