The crew's situation deteriorates when a loud explosion signals the start of chaotic events. Attempts to reach Mission Control fail, and an emergency recalibration of the ship's systems leads to speculation of external damage. Cole, in a state of paranoia, believes they are being manipulated by Walter through psychotropic drugs, exacerbating tensions within the crew.
As the days progress towards Day 218, hallucinations plague Cole. The team unintentionally finds themselves embroiled in violent conflicts. Bug, another crew member, finds himself becoming increasingly isolated, expressing guilt over his son. Meanwhile, the escalating madness reaches a gripping climax as hallucinations of loved ones arise, forcing the crew to confront their pasts.
