Part 3/10:
Before the pandemonium, we are introduced to Su-in, a supermarket employee. A confrontation with a belligerent customer spirals into a violent chase when he attempts to stab her multiple times. However, just as her life hangs by a thread, an unidentified individual intervenes, killing her assailant. The police, led by Mr. Kim—someone from Su-in’s troubled past—arrive to take her to safety. It's during her hospitalization that the viewer learns of her traumatic childhood, having suffered abuse from her father while Mr. Kim was her rescuer.
