Upon returning to their laboratory, Made and Owen work incessantly, creating special face masks to ensure the safety of living experimentations. Their beloved pet rat, Darick, becomes the chosen subject for this bold next step. Despite Owen’s confidence in the experiment, the outcome is tragically catastrophic; Darick is violently obliterated in the process, leaving Made heartbroken and filled with anger towards Owen for pushing her into this premature experiment.
