In connection with the allegations, Rocky was arrested in 2022. Following his arrest, he was released on bail set at $550,000. Prior to the start of his three-week trial at the Los Angeles Superior Court, the rapper was offered a plea deal, which he ultimately declined. His attorney, Joe Takapa, communicated that Rocky maintained his innocence and would not accept any deal that would imply guilt. The plea deal included 180 days in jail, three years of probation, and other minor conditions related to an assault charge.
