Part 2/8:
As the narrative unfolds, Will's relationship with the drug known as "Z" distills as less an escape and more a journey towards painful truths that linger just beneath the surface of his consciousness. People typically consume drugs to evade their realities, yet Will finds himself both haunted and propelled by his need for Z. He immerses himself in a chaotic existence, desperately trying to remember what he has lost—someone or something that eludes his grasp.
In conversations with other characters, such as Johnny, who introduces him to the underbelly of substance dealing, Will's dependency heightens the drama. Johnny's presence invariably reminds Will that even in his labyrinth of memories, he isn't genuinely alone, yet clarity is perpetually out of reach.
