One of the most time-consuming tasks in Excel is updating formula ranges manually or editing pivot tables due to changing source data. This issue can be avoided by formatting your data as an Excel table. Simply press Ctrl + T
and confirm. When your data is structured this way, using table structured references (which include the table name and column name) allows for automatic updates when new data is added. Consequently, your formulas will adjust automatically, and your pivot tables can be refreshed with a simple click. This makes it far less likely that new data will be overlooked in your reports and analyses.
